A TV trivia game built for the couch, table, or party
The main screen should feel like the stage, not like a stretched phone app. Think and Dare is designed so the television can carry the room code, questions, scoring, announcements, and leaderboard while player phones handle the private interactions.
The TV is the game board
A big shared screen makes it easier for the whole room to follow the same moment. Players can see whose turn it is, what difficulty was chosen, when time is running out, which answer was correct, and who moved on the leaderboard. That creates natural conversation and keeps spectators involved even when they are not holding a controller.
Phones replace extra hardware
Players do not need a stack of dedicated controllers. They can scan the QR code, enter a name, and use the browser on a phone they already understand. The phone can show personal answer buttons and player-specific prompts without revealing those choices to the rest of the room. That combination gives the host a big-screen presentation without requiring specialized game-night equipment.
Designed for readable distance
TV play changes interface requirements. Text, timers, scoreboards, safe margins, and button placement need to work from across a room and on televisions that apply overscan. Think and Dare is tested with the shared-screen role in mind so the experience remains readable instead of simply enlarging a desktop layout.
How a Think and Dare round works
The chooser selects difficulty before the question appears. Easy is worth +2 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong answer, Moderate is +6 and −3, and Difficult is +10 and −5 before later-round multipliers. Every standard question gives four answer choices.
The shared screen carries the public game while player phones handle private answers and player-specific choices. A full game uses 15 rounds, and later rounds increase the stakes so the final stretch can still change the leaderboard.
Choose a pack that fits the room
Think and Dare includes broad categories for mixed groups and specialty collections for nights when the group wants a specific rivalry. Browse the pack library before starting, or open the game and let the host choose after everybody joins.
