Think and Dare Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Think and Dare collects, why it is used, which service providers process it for us, and the choices available to players and adult hosts.

Stripe processes payment-card information; Think and Dare does not receive or store the full card number or card security code. Amazon processes purchases made through the Fire TV version, while Stripe processes website purchases.
3. How we collect information
- From you: when an adult host signs in, a player enters a display name, someone purchases access, a person requests a custom-event quote, a private-event customer signs in, or a person contacts us.
- From gameplay: when devices create or join rooms, make selections, answer questions, rejoin, share or open a group challenge, or provide question feedback.
- Automatically: from standard browser, device, network, referral, and service logs when Think and Dare is opened or used.
- From service providers: for example, authentication results, successful checkout status, and purchase confirmations.
4. How we use information
- Provide multiplayer rooms, TV pairing, gameplay, scoring, rejoining, and customer support.
- Authenticate website hosts and private-event customers, show each private customer only the projects and content assigned to that customer, and restore purchased packs or ad-free access from the correct storefront account.
- Process purchases, custom-event inquiries and private projects, display customer-provided private-event branding and announcements during authorized games, keep transaction and entitlement records, and prevent abuse or fraud.
- Measure app use, reliability, broad regional interest, referrals, group-challenge sharing and completion, invitations, acquisition sources, retention, feature engagement, multiplayer growth, content performance, and product experiments.
- Review question feedback and improve the game, content, layout, accessibility, and performance.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect users, Think and Dare, and our service providers.
5. Service providers and disclosure
We use companies that process information on our behalf to operate Think and Dare. Current services include Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, security, online rooms, operational analytics, and private-event API access; Supabase for website account authentication, database storage, website entitlements, and a separate private-project database for custom-event customer accounts and content; Stripe for website checkout and payment processing; and Amazon for Fire TV account identity, checkout, receipt verification, and Amazon entitlements. Authentication or email-delivery providers may also deliver account messages.
These providers may process only the information needed to perform their services for us and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.
Think and Dare does not sell personal information. Advertising and measurement providers may process device, browser, consent, advertising, and interaction data under their own privacy terms when their services are enabled. We review those integrations and update this policy and applicable storefront disclosures when our advertising or data-sharing practices materially change.
6. Advertising, cookies, consent, and referrals
Free hosting may be supported by advertising. Think and Dare has its own direct-sponsor campaign system and may also use Google advertising services, including Google AdSense or eligible game-ad products. Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to Think and Dare or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to Think and Dare and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Users may also visit AboutAds to learn about opt-out choices offered by participating third-party advertising vendors. Google-certified ad networks, authorized buyers, and ad technology partners may also be eligible to serve ads through Google's advertising systems. Google's current ad-technology partner information is available in its Ad Technology Partners documentation, subject to Google's controls and applicable consent choices.
Advertising providers may use cookies, local storage, device or browser information, IP-derived location, consent signals, and ad interaction data to deliver, measure, limit, personalize, or report advertising as permitted by law and the choices available to you. Where required, Think and Dare will request advertising consent through an appropriate consent-management experience before personalized advertising is enabled. Available choices and the exact advertising behavior may vary by region, device, storefront, and whether the host has purchased Ad-Free Forever.
We also measure ad placement views, completions and clicks, campaign codes, referral and landing pages, first- and last-touch UTM attribution, platform and device categories, product experiment tags, and tester invitations so we can understand how people find Think and Dare, whether promotions lead to actual gameplay, and which experiences improve retention, multiplayer use, and purchases. Direct-sponsor advertisements are labeled as sponsored content and appear only in reserved game transitions rather than over active questions or answer timers.
Google provides information about how it uses data from sites and apps that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
If Think and Dare later offers optional marketing email or text messaging, contact information and marketing consent records will be collected only when a person voluntarily provides them or otherwise opts in. Consent records may include the channel, source, timestamp, and unsubscribe status. Marketing contact details are kept separate from security-only IP information, and security IP addresses are not used as marketing identities.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Custom-event leads, customer records, project assignments, event content, and related business records may be retained while a project or customer relationship is active and afterward as reasonably needed for support, reuse of authorized commercial content, accounting, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Temporary room and connection information expires as rooms close or age out. Security IP addresses used by Think and Dare visitor-security analytics are ordinarily retained for up to 30 days. An address associated with an active security rule, abuse investigation, fraud-prevention record, or legal requirement may be retained longer as reasonably necessary. Account, purchase, entitlement, support, other security, and legal records may also be retained longer when necessary to restore purchases, prevent fraud, meet accounting or legal requirements, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
When a verified deletion request is completed, covered information is deleted or de-identified unless retention is required or permitted for a legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reason.
8. Your privacy choices
You may request access, correction, deletion of selected data, or deletion of your Think and Dare host account and associated data.
- Use our public Account and Data Deletion Request page. You do not need the app installed.
- Use the same email address as the host account when possible so we can verify ownership.
- We may ask for limited additional information to verify the request and protect the account.
- Deleting the account may remove access to purchases attached only to that Think and Dare account.
- Amazon purchases are separate and remain governed by the Amazon account and Amazon's purchase-management tools.
- Custom-event customers may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal contact/account information associated with their private-event account, subject to business, legal, accounting, security, or contractual retention needs.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections, limited server-side credentials, authentication controls, and access restrictions. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive information in a support or deletion message.
10. Children and adult hosts
Think and Dare host accounts and purchases are intended for adults age 18 or older. The service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly create accounts for children. Guests may participate in a group game under the supervision and responsibility of the adult host. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. International processing and policy updates
Think and Dare is operated from the United States, and service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. We may update this policy as the game, law, or service providers change. The effective date at the top will be revised when changes are posted.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact Think and Dare / Truth And Dare Trivia at info@thinkanddare.com, or use the Account and Data Deletion Request page.
