Think and Dare FAQ
Here are the practical answers players and hosts usually need before starting a multiplayer trivia night.
Do players need to install an app?
No. Room players join from a browser by scanning the room QR code or entering the room code. For the web launch, the shared game screen runs on a PC, laptop, or tablet.
How many answers does each trivia question have?
Standard Think and Dare questions always present four answer choices.
When do I choose difficulty?
Difficulty is chosen before the question is shown. Easy is worth +2/−1, Moderate +6/−3, and Difficult +10/−5 before later-round multipliers.
How long is a full game?
The standard full game is 15 rounds. Groups can play another pack afterward rather than treating one game as the entire session.
Can somebody rejoin after leaving the browser?
Think and Dare includes rejoin logic that attempts to restore the player's seat and score. The room QR code remains available during play so players can return when needed.
Is Think and Dare free?
Free ad-supported hosting is available. Optional one-time purchases can remove ads or unlock paid trivia collections.
Does every player have to buy premium packs?
No. Pack access belongs to the host account or supported storefront account. Players joining that host's room do not need separate purchases.
When can ads appear?
Think and Dare reserves natural scoring transitions for commercial breaks instead of covering a question or answer timer. Ad-free hosts do not receive those commercial breaks.
What device does the host need?
For the web launch, the host uses a PC, laptop, or tablet with a modern browser and internet connection. That shared screen runs the room, questions, scores, and Game Director presentation.
Do players have to be in the same room?
No. Online hosting lets player phones join the room over the internet, although Think and Dare is designed to be especially fun when a group can share the same game screen.
What kinds of trivia are included?
The library spans general knowledge, movies and TV, music, sports, history, geography, science and nature, food and drink, generations, animals, machines, strange facts, family challenges, couples, and other specialty themes.
Is Think and Dare only about trivia questions?
Trivia is the foundation, but the experience also uses chooser rotation, risk selection, Dare mechanics, rising stakes, Game Director announcements, scoreboards, and bragging-rights moments.
