ONE ROOM · ONE GAME BOARD · PRIVATE PLAYER CONTROLS

Multiplayer trivia designed around the whole room

Think and Dare separates the public game from the private controls. The television, laptop, or tablet shows what everybody should see. Each player phone handles the things that should stay personal, including answers and player-specific actions.

Why separate screens matter

When every player sees the full experience only on a personal phone, the group can stop feeling like a group. Think and Dare keeps the question, reveal, score changes, leader, and Game Director moments on a shared screen. The phones stay useful without becoming the center of attention. That balance is especially helpful when players have different ages, devices, or comfort levels with games.

A scoring system that creates decisions

The chooser selects risk before the question: Easy is +2 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong answer, Moderate is +6 and −3, and Difficult is +10 and −5 before later-round multipliers. That means the best choice can depend on score position, confidence, and how aggressive somebody wants to be. A player who is behind can take a bigger swing while the leader may choose a safer route.

Multiplayer reliability is part of the product

Real groups get interrupted. Phones lock, browsers are backgrounded, Wi-Fi changes, and somebody scans the room code late. Think and Dare includes room, rejoin, controller, and connection logic because multiplayer trivia is only fun when the game can recover from normal interruptions. The goal is to keep the group moving without turning the host into technical support.

How a Think and Dare round works

The chooser selects difficulty before the question appears. Easy is worth +2 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong answer, Moderate is +6 and −3, and Difficult is +10 and −5 before later-round multipliers. Every standard question gives four answer choices.

The shared screen carries the public game while player phones handle private answers and player-specific choices. A full game uses 15 rounds, and later rounds increase the stakes so the final stretch can still change the leaderboard.

EASY+2 correct · −1 wrong
MODERATE+6 correct · −3 wrong
DIFFICULT+10 correct · −5 wrong
