FROM NOTHING PLANNED TO A ROOM PLAYING

A game night idea that does not require a closet full of pieces

Sometimes the biggest obstacle to game night is setup. Think and Dare is meant to shorten the distance between somebody saying “we should play something” and the room actually starting. The host opens the game, players scan a QR code, enter names, and the group chooses what kind of trivia fits the night.

Works with the devices already in the room

The main screen can be a TV, laptop, or tablet, while player phones handle controls. There are no decks to shuffle, score pads to find, or separate controllers to charge. The game tracks scoring and round progression so the host can participate instead of spending the entire night acting as referee.

A game night can change direction

One group may want broad trivia first and a focused category second. Another may want a generation rivalry, couples challenge, sports night, or movie showdown. Think and Dare's pack structure makes switching the theme part of the evening instead of requiring a completely different game every time the group changes its mind.

Built around the social part of playing

The most memorable game-night moments are usually not the factual answers by themselves. They are the confident wrong answer, the risky comeback, the person who finally takes the lead, and the argument that continues after the reveal. Think and Dare keeps those moments on the shared screen so the software supports the room instead of replacing it.

How a Think and Dare round works

The chooser selects difficulty before the question appears. Easy is worth +2 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong answer, Moderate is +6 and −3, and Difficult is +10 and −5 before later-round multipliers. Every standard question gives four answer choices.

The shared screen carries the public game while player phones handle private answers and player-specific choices. A full game uses 15 rounds, and later rounds increase the stakes so the final stretch can still change the leaderboard.

EASY+2 correct · −1 wrong
MODERATE+6 correct · −3 wrong
DIFFICULT+10 correct · −5 wrong

Choose a pack that fits the room

Think and Dare includes broad categories for mixed groups and specialty collections for nights when the group wants a specific rivalry. Browse the pack library before starting, or open the game and let the host choose after everybody joins.
